An optional Social Event is programmed on September 16th. Take a chance to immerse yourself in our local culture. The first part of the Social event is a guided tour of the old part of the city, including Brixia Roman archaeological area, UNESCO site since 2011. This tour will give you a glimpse of the ancient origins of our city, which became a Roman city in 225 BC.
The social event will conclude with a social dinner the restaurant G. A. Porteri, where you can experience the flavors of the local cuisine. Any particular need, like dietary necessities, allergies or preference for a vegetarian menu, should be stated during your registration.

By subway
Exit at the Marconi station (from the Conference location, the subway direction is towards “Prealpino”). The restaurant can be reached in 5 minutes by foot.
By Car
Parking spots availability along Via Trento street can be small. A possible parking spot is at the Marconi subway station or in Parcheggio Via della Valle (this one is further away, 11 minutes by foot from the restaurant), or in the internal streets around the restaurant.
